Abstract

The objective of the work was to evaluate the agronomic performance of five peanut cultivars, in the Alta Mogiana region, municipality of Jaboticabal, state of São Paulo. The experiment was carried out in the field, in a rotation area with sugar cane, at the Canada site located on the SP-333 highway, in the agricultural year 2019/20, with manual seeding carried out on November 19, 2019. The experimental design it was in randomized blocks, with four repetitions. The treatments were five peanut cultivars: BRS 421 OL, BRS 423 OL, BRS 425 OL, IAC OL 3 and IAC 503. Each experimental plot was composed of two lines of three meters in length, with a spacing of 0.90 m, with an interval of two meters between plots and the useful area for evaluation was 3.6 m2. The average stand was 14 plants m-1. The mass of 100 grains (g) and the yield of pods (kg ha-1 and bushel bags-1) were evaluated. There was a significant difference for the two variables evaluated. In the experimental conditions it was concluded that the cultivars BRS 421 OL, BRS 425 OL, BRS 423 OL and IAC OL 3 obtained yields above 6,500 kg ha-1 in the Alta Mogiana region.
