Agronomic evaluation of peanut genotypes in the mesoregion of Centro Goiano

Abstract

The studies of cultivar adaptation are essential for the identification and recommendation of the most promising materials for the different regions of Brazil. The present work had as objective the agronomic evaluation of peanut genotypes in the mesoregion of Centro Goiano. The experiment was carried out in the experimental area of "‹"‹EMBRAPA Arroz e Feijão, located in the municipality of Santo Antônio de Goiás-GO, in the 2020/21 agricultural year. Sowing was performed manually on December 10, 2020. The treatments consisted of ten genotypes, eight lines (1876 OL, 2101 OL, 2010 OL, 2110 OL, 2131 OL, 2136 OL, 2056 OL and 2250 OL), one cultivar (BRS 423 OL), developed by the PMA from EMBRAPA and one cultivar Argentina from El Carmen (Granoleico). A randomized block design with four replications was used. There was variability of grain granulometry for the different genotypes. The lowest severity score was obtained in the cultivar BRS 423 OL, which is also among the most productive in the study, together with the lines 1876 OL, 2101 OL, 2010 OL and 2110 OL.
