This article addresses the pressing need to effectively integrate themes related to Global Citizenship and Human Rights (HR) into the educational framework, fostering the holistic development of students in the face of challenges posed by an interconnected world. The general objective is to investigate the urgency and possibilities of effectively incorporating Global Citizenship and HR themes into the educational system. Initially, the theoretical framework underpinning Education for Human Rights and Global Citizenship is analyzed. Subsequently, the strategies adopted by global institutions in this context are explored. The research also examines how European countries integrate these themes into their educational practices. The methodological approach is bibliographic, exploratory, and qualitative. The results reveal a need for a more robust and systemic integration of these themes into education. In conclusion, it is emphasized that Global Citizenship and Human Rights should not be isolated elements but rather intrinsic to the educational process, thereby promoting a broad and interconnected view of knowledge.
